The perfect mix.
A plank of cork contains nearly 60% gaseous elements, which explains its extraordinary lightness. These small air cushions are what makes cork so remarkably compressible.

Simultaneously, suberin, a key chemical compound found in cork, makes it impermeable and therefore airtight. This gas cannot escape, wich is the reason for its tissue elasticity and low thermal condutivity.

Cork's unique properties - which no other natural or artificial product has yet been able to emulate or improve - offers flooring products the best option for in-house application.
